The myTraining portal is an integrated training management system for faculty and staff at the University of Florida and UF Health Shands. This one-stop portal enables faculty and staff to view training schedules, register for professional and required classes, and complete online training.
How to Access myTraining
myTraining can be accessed at https://mytraining.hr.ufl.edu/
Those with GatorLink accounts should select Sign in with GatorLink.
Those with UF Health or Shands accounts should select Sign in with UF Health.
All other users should select external login provider and sign in using the Google or LinkedIn account that you registered with.
Once logged in, you can use the “Timeline” tab on the left-hand menu, or the search bar in the top right to search for the course(s) you need to complete.
Common Errors:
- The course will not open, or course content does not load.
- Ensure that you are using a supported browser. The course details page will often list which browsers, for example Chrome or Safari, must be used. You may also need to enable pop-ups or try other Browser Troubleshooting Steps.
- The course will not register completion. When the Activity Details page is viewed, the content portion of the course still displays a status of “In Progress.”
- Many courses feature a button or hyperlink at the end of the content that is used to mark completion of the section. It can be easy to miss, so you may have closed the window without clicking the button or hyperlink. To check for this, you can return to the end of the course content and then click the button or hyperlink. A dialog box will display that presents two buttons, Close and Launch. Select Close. The Activity Details page will now display a status of “Attended.”
