Starting the System

The computer and touch panel will be in sleep mode when you arrive. Move the mouse or tap the touch panel to wake the system.

Connecting to the Podium Computer or Your Laptop

Once the system is awake, you can either log in to the podium computer or connect your laptop using the USB-C or HDMI cable. Use only one cable at a time.

Selecting a Display

After you log in or connect your laptop, use the touch panel to choose what appears on the left monitor, the right monitor, or the laptop connection (labeled Laptop HDMI).

The screen selection menu on the touch panel scrolls left and right. Scroll to the display you want to change, then select it.

Using the Room Cameras

If you are logged in to the podium computer, you can access the room cameras from the touch panel. Use the directional and zoom buttons to change which camera is active and adjust its view.

Using the Microphones

• Room microphones mute automatically while resting on their charging stand. When you pick one up, it unmutes after a short delay.
• Use the touch panel to adjust how loud the microphones are or to mute them.
• Podium microphones have their own mute button, located on the right side of the microphone.

Turning Off the Displays

The Display Control option on the touch panel turns off all four TVs in the room. This option is not recommended, since it power cycles the TVs and takes about one minute for them to come back on.

Ending Your Session

When you are finished using the system:

1. Log out of the podium computer.
2. On the touch panel, tap the power icon in the top right corner.
3. Select Shutdown to put the system into standby mode.

Using the Whiteboard

1. Take the pen out of its stand to activate the pen features. The pen software starts, and a pen icon appears in the right corner of the Windows taskbar.
2. Tap or click the pen icon to open a menu of programs, including OneNote, Paint, Snipping Tool, and Microsoft Whiteboard.
3. Select Microsoft Whiteboard.

In Microsoft Whiteboard, you can use the right monitor and the pen together as a whiteboard.

To export the whiteboard, tap the gear icon in the top right corner and select Export. You can save the whiteboard as an image or a PDF.
