Dashboarding is an ad-hoc visualization tool available in Enterprise Analytics that allows you to create powerful visualizations with data available in the Data Warehouse or by uploading your own CSV or Excel file. Please note that the list of data packages you will have access to in Dashboarding correlates with the other security roles you have established in myUFL.

The Enterprise Analytics – Power BI allows you to connect to data in Excel workbooks, local databases, or the cloud and prepare the data for analysis. You can create reports and format visuals of your data in insightful ways then publish them in workspaces, on the web, in applications, or using Microsoft Teams.

Enterprise Analytics is a collection of the university's web-based reporting tools that provide a simple way to view, create, or download reports from university data sources including personnel, financial, payroll, directory, and student data. All UF faculty and staff are able to use these tools via the myUFL portal to access and run pre-defined or delivered reports.

Report Author is an ad-hoc reporting tool in Enterprise Analytics that allows you to ask a question of (i.e., query) the Data Warehouse and build custom reports on Financial and Human Resource data. You will need the UF_ER_REPORT_AUTHOR security role to access the Report Author tool. Please note that the list of data packages you will have access to in Report Author correlates with the other security roles you have established in myUFL.
