Ordering Transcripts

Transcript Ordering Requirements

You must have an active GatorLink account to order an official transcript. If you have never had a GatorLink account or cannot remember your password, please call the UF Computing Help Desk at 352-392-4357 (392-HELP). If you were born in 1955 or earlier, your record may need to be moved to our online system first.

To have your records digitized and be assigned a UFID number so that you may access your student record online and be able to order an official transcript, please complete this form. If you are unsure of whether or not your record needs to be digitized, please contact the Registrar.

Unofficial Transcript

An unofficial transcript is a record of your current academic progress at the University of Florida. It is not typically sent to employers or other institutions.

Obtaining your unofficial transcripts:

  • Navigate to https://one.uf.edu/.
  • Select Log in with GatorLink.
  • Navigate to the "Grades & Transcripts” pane and select View Unofficial Transcript.
Tip: For a printer-friendly PDF of your unofficial transcript, you can select Florida Shines PDF located in the upper right of the page and then select View Transcript.

Official Transcript

An official transcript contains your complete academic history at the University of Florida. It is sent to potential employers or other institutions on your behalf by National Student Clearinghouse. Official transcripts can be sent physically or digitally.

Ordering your Official Transcript:

  • Navigate to https://one.uf.edu/.
  • Select Log in with GatorLink.
  • Navigate to the "Grades & Transcripts” pane and select Order Transcript.
  • Select Order My Official Transcript.
  • Log into National Student Clearinghouse using your GatorLink credentials.
Note: National Student Clearinghouse may require multi-factor authentication after you log in. We recommend choosing the SMS option. If it asks for verification with a phone number or email you no longer have access to, you will need to reach out to NSC Support to have your information updated.

Troubleshooting

400 Error/Blank Screen After Logging Into National Student Clearinghouse

This issue commonly occurs when your IP address is blocked by NSC. To have your IP address unblocked, you can reach out to servicewww@studentclearinghouse.org. In the email, please include your email address, IP address, and a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing. The NSC security team will then unblock your IP address.

End-of-Term (EOT) Processing Hold

At the end of each term, the Registrar puts a temporary hold on transcript processing for two to three days while grades are updated. You will be unable to view your unofficial transcript during this time. While official transcripts can still be ordered through NSC, the order will not be processed until the hold lifts. If you have an emergency need for your transcript to be sent without current term grades or degrees, please reach out to the Registrar at help@registrar.ufl.edu with the subject EOT Transcript Override.
