Changing Your GatorLink Password

GatorLink passwords are required to be changed every 365 days. You can change your password using our self-service function before the expiration date. If your password has already expired, you will need to follow the Resetting Your GatorLink Password instructions instead.

Changing Your Password

  1. Navigate to https://account.it.ufl.edu/
  2. Click Change Your Password.
  3. Login with your current GatorLink username and password.
  4. Read and accept the UF Acceptable Use Policy.
  5. Create a new GatorLink Password. (See GatorLink password tips for guidelines and helpful information)
  6. Confirm your new password by entering it again.
  7. Click Next to save your new password

After creating your new password, it will take approximately five minutes for the new password to be activated and ready for use.

Don't forget to update your password in your email applications and wifi settings on your mobile devices.
