The Cloud Enablement team works with requesters to understand their specific needs and will work with you (and/or your team) to design, architect, implement, and manage applications to enable your project.

Backups and Archive Data Storage

Backups - Data copies stored in an administratively independent system to enable restoration from a catastrophic failure of the primary system.
Archive - Data which is intended to be stored for "a long time", seldom read, seldom re-written.

Hosted Files

File Server Hosting provides fully managed file server resources (accessible via SMB or NFS) from within UFIT's existing infrastructure.

Hosted Websites - Apache

Apache Website Hosting provides managed Apache/Linux website resources from within UFIT's infrastructure to run your website.

Hosted Websites - IIS

IIS Website Hosting provides IIS/Windows Server website resources from within UFIT's enterprise infrastructure to run your website.

Managed Server Hosting

UFIT provides complete system administration functionality for your servers for your department.

SSL Certificate Management

SSL certificates are issued from Comodo, via the InCommon agreement. Each college and major unit director may assign two or three individuals within their area to administer the SSL certificates.

Virtual Machine Hosting

Virtual Machine (VM) hosting provides VMs to run dedicated and customized Linux or Windows systems.
